Order Makes Me Happy

I have most of my cotton quilting fabric folded on comic book boards now.  I love this system so much!  It is so easy to grab a fabric choice, cut a bit, and put it back.

I am no longer having to fold and refold and re-stack fabric.  Whoever thought of this idea for storage is a hero of mine.  I love my little cotton library.

Now I need to come up with a cute storage/display idea for fat quarters.  Hmm...

Where do you get "comic boards"...great idea! And not only does it make it easier for you but it's very pretty too!
I did see someone use old cd holders..metal to hold fat quarters but not all of them work.

Hi Sam!

I got my comic book boards on amazon

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0034U9I24/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

but I think there are lots of places that sell them.
I really love this folding system. So tidy! I take some fabrics from my "library" and test out the color combinations; if I like them I just unroll a bit and cut what I need. Putting them back is simple and I don't have to keep arranging over and over. And I am one of those people who gets inspired when I can see what exactly I have to work with so I love the display of colors.
I'm glad you liked it and thanks for stopping by!
