Happy St. Nicholas Day!

Happy St. Nicholas feast day!

Every year, on the night of December 5th, the kids put their shoes outside on the front porch in hopes that they will receive some treats on St. Nicholas' feast day, December 6th.
The traditional treats are gold coins, candy canes, maybe some chocolates, and an orange.  And if you're my kids, you hope that you will receive some Little Debbie snack cakes, which I don't understand the great appeal of, but ok, if that's what they love.

Hope you're enjoying this day too!
