More Front Porch

I have been arranging the front porch now that it's warm enough to spend time out there. I spray painted a glider rocker and made a new cushion cover out of some blue floral fabric I had stashed away. I saw that fabric a few years back and I loved it but never really had a place to use it before.I think it looks nice with my old work table that I painted.

Our home is up on a hill and the front yard gently slopes down to the fence and then there is a steeper hill down to the road. I am grateful for the leafy woods across the road. When you sit on the porch, you cannot see any other houses nearby. I have planted shrubs and trees over the years to give us more privacy. The fence goes across the front of the yard and there is a gate at the driveway --which I love. It makes it difficult for the dogs to get to near the road.

The view from the porch...
I am still not finished with everything I wanted to do. I will post more as I go on...

I am entering the Debbiedoos Blogging and Blabbing Newbie party. I always find so much creativity on the part of fellow bloggers there.

Happy Spring!

Your porch looks very comfortable. I don't know about you, but the only time I relax on the porch is when we have company! The view from your porch is so pretty. Enjoy!

That fabric is just perfect with the painted table! Love it! Looks like a beautiful spot to sip a cup of tea and read a book. Just lovely! Thanks for sharing.
