I Can't Believe I Watched the Whole Thing!

I don't even watch TV. I had kind of written off watching the royal wedding because I am sort of out of the loop with that stuff. But a couple of blogs have focused on the Will & Kate wedding countdown this week and I got somewhat interested. Then my 14-year-old daughter was enthusiastic about getting up to see it and I thought "why not?". After all, I got up and watched Charles and Diana when I was her age.

The bride was lovely and the groom was perfect and I was amazed that even though billions were probably watching , it still seemed almost personal. And it is a Christan ceremony, with scriptural readings, and the media had to just be quiet and let a Bible passage be read aloud to billions of people...and I was pleased with that.

And the cameras these days! You could see everything clearly!

I am hoping that Kate's beautiful gown, that reminded us all of the lovely gown worn by Grace Kelly, will spark a trend toward wedding gowns with sleeves!

I agree, the gown was classy in every sense, and there was beauty in every detail! I had a long-sleeved gown, too and long cuffs and am so happy that I did!

I loved the scripture readings and the singing and the music.

Have a wonderful weekend.
